Erin is the author of the newly released "2 Day Diabetes Diet," as well as the “Belly Fat Diet For Dummies” (Wiley 2012). Erin is also a co-author of "Flat Belly Cookbook For Dummies," as well as the creator and author of the Healthy 'n Fit Weight Management Program and the Healthy Resolutions Weight Management Program. She also serves as the featured expert in the #1 best selling diabetes Ipad App “Diabetes: What Now” by Everydayhealth and is the featured nutrition expert on the weekly syndicated health show KnowMoreTV.
Erin provides speeches, workshops, and lectures on a variety of nutrition and fitness topics to corporate, educational, and community groups. She contributes her nutrition expertise to a variety of national and regional media including The Doctors, The Early Show, CBS News, ABC News, NJ 12 News, Fox News, Prevention Magazine, Consumer Reports, Fitness Magazine, Glamour Magazine, and Chicago Tribune. Erin has also serves as a media spokesperson and consultant for various companies, PR firms, and production companies and is a freelance writer for media outlets such as GalTime.com.
Erin currently serves on the Nutrition Advisory Board for the College of Saint Elizabeth and has been appointed to the ZiggityZoom.com Advisory Board as the Nutrition and Obesity Expert. Erin has also founded DietitianResource.com to provide effective and affordable educational materials to nutrition professionals working in outpatient, clinical, and community settings.
Erin founded her private practice, Vernon Nutrition Center, LLC, in April 2004, a mere eight months after becoming a Registered Dietitian. Her private practice has now expanded to locations in Franklin and Ramsey NJ and serves thousands of patients each year. Her practice provides individual counseling for children and adults in the areas of weight management, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disorders, general wellness, and sports nutrition.
